The recent announcement of Russian President Vladimir Putin concerning thesituation in Georgia contains no aggression plans against this country,Chief of the State Duma's Foreign Committee Konstantin Kosachev declared ata press conference today. Putin didn't intend to move Russian forces intoGeorgia, the official added. The announcement is just an evaluation of"logical things that might be done by Russia in the situation, when Georgiais unable to control the situation alone." Georgia is not trying to playthe Chechnya card in its own political interests, Kosachev stressed.
