The volume of Russian exports amounted to $9.14bn in July 2002, which was12.6 percent higher than in the corresponding period of last year. Thisinformation is contained in the Central Bank's survey released by theBank's external and public relations department. The document is devoted toRussian foreign trade and it is based on the methodology of paymentbalance. In June 2002 Russian exports amounted to $8.166bn.Russian exports to CIS countries were $1.424bn in July 2002, which was130.2 percent of the figure in the corresponding period of last year, $139mmore than in June 2002, and $369m higher than in January 2002.Russian exports to other foreign countries amounted to $7.716bn in July,which was 9.9 percent more than in the corresponding period of last year,$835m more than in June 2002, and $1.943bn more than in January 2002..
