26 people are dead and 12 are feared missing after severe storms swept through south-east France in the last 48 hours.
The worst-affected area is the department of Gard, where twelve people are missing and the bodies of nine others have been found, taking the total of deaths to 24 since the storms began. Heavy rains and high winds have reduced the area to chaos.
