The participants of the 11th meeting of the International CoordinationCommittee of the TEDIM program (Telematics in Foreign Trade Logistics andDelivery Management), which is held in the information center of theOctober Railroad, are discussing the implementation of projects aimed atdeveloping international trade and logistics among the countries of theBaltic Sea. As the press service of the October Railroad reported, themeeting is chaired by Senior Deputy Railroad Minister of Russia VladimirYakunin. The representatives of the Russian Railroad Ministry, theTransport Ministry along with the delegations of the Transport Ministriesof Finland, Germany, Estonia, Latvia, Denmark, Japan, Iran and themanagement of the October Railroad attend the meeting. TEDIM is an international forum that unites several projects aimed atdeveloping international trade and logistics among the countries of theNorthern Europe. The participants of the meeting will revise the programaccording to the up-to-date conditions and discuss the proposals of newprojects and the outlooks of the improvement of internationalcompetitiveness of the Northern Europe. Russia also takes active part inimplementing the TEDIM program: of 16 projects the development of 6 was ledby specialists of Russian transport agencies.
