The North-West Timber Company will be the only Russian firm to take part in the Taropack exhibition in Poland, according to the company's press office. After Frankfurt, Taropack is the second largest Western-European exhibition of packaging products and the materials and tools used for their production. The exhibition takes place annually from September 10 to 13 in the Polish town of Poznan and draws thousands of participants.
At Taropack the North-West Timber Company will display an under-parchment as well as a wide range of offset papers and paper stationary. Under-parchment is a fine paper which allows products to be stored for an optimal time period without their flavour or appearance deteriorating. In addition, this kind of packaging breaks down into environmentally harmless substances: cellulose, glucose, carbonic acid and water.
The North-West Timber Company unites the Nyandom Timber Company (Arkhangelsk), the Kamennogorsk Offset Paper Factory (Leningrad Region), the Neman Cellulose Paper Factory (Kaliningrad Region) and the Kropotkin Woodworking Machine Factory.
