German newspaper Bild featured a new serialized article entitled, "Germany's Beautiful Turks," about the country's newer generation of Turkish women.
The serial focused on the Turkish women born in Germany and said that the new generation of Turkish women were independent and married after having established a career.
"The status of Turkish women living in Germany has changed completely. The older generation was fully dependent on their husbands. Almost the entire older generation of Turkish women did not speak German and focused only on their families," Turkey Research Center (TAM) Director Faruk Sen told the newspaper.
"Although my roots are in Turkey, I feel that Germany is my homeland," 24-year old actress Arzu Bazman was quoted as saying by Bild newspaper.
The article also mentioned that 42 percent of the Turkish students educated in Germany were female and that they felt confident in both their professional and private lives.
