The 824.6bn ruble ($26.14bn) task (including the single social tax) set forthe Tax Ministry for the period from January to July 2002 was fulfilled by100.6 percent, the press service of the Tax Ministry reported. Some 5.2bnrubles ($164.8m) were additionally transferred to the federal budget. InJuly 2002 about 142.1bn rubles ($4.5bn) in taxes were transferred to thebudget, which was 3.1bn rubles ($98.26m) or 2.2 percent more than it wasplanned.Tax and non-tax revenues of the federal budget collected by the Ministryamounted to 629.2bn rubles ($19.94bn), which was 121.5 percent, compared tothe corresponding period of last year. However, this task was fulfilledonly by 94.5 percent.About 200.5bn rubles ($6.25bn) in single social taxes were transferred tothe federal budget in the period from January to July 2002, which was 126.3percent of the planned volume.Insurance payments to the Pension Fund amounted to 157.3bn rubles (about$5bn).
