State Duma Speaker Gennady Seleznyov said on Monday that VladimirZhirinovsky, leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia, might becalled to the carpet in the chamber for behavior unfitting of a deputy.Seleznyov explained that, last week, Sergei Komkov, the president of theRussian Education Fund, had lodged a complaint with Zhirinovsky, sayingthat, on Aug. 26, the LD head and about 20 of supporters attacked thesecondary school Serebryany Bor 2000, which belonged to the fund. Komkovsaid that Zhirinovsky's group had used force to occupy the school, despiteresistance from school staff."This ugly episode from Zhirinovsky indicates that he seems to haveforgotten that he is not only a deputy and the leader of his party, butalso deputy speaker of the State Duma," Seleznyov was quoted as saying.
