A delegation of the Duma-PACE task force will leave for Chechnya today. Thedelegation is headed by Lord Judd on behalf of PACE (the ParliamentaryAssembly of the Council of Europe) and Dmitry Rogozin on behalf of theState Duma committee for international affairs, Radio Rossii reported. Thedelegation is expected to spend two days in the Russian republic.This trip to Chechnya will be made prior to the PACE fall session, whichwill be devoted to the situation in the republic. The delegation will payspecial attention to the outlooks for the political settlement of theChechen conflict as well as social and humanitarian issues..
