Specialists of the Federal Migration Service of the Russian InteriorMinistry revealed 30,000 non-existent refugees during an inspection atrefugee camps in Chechnya and Ingushetia, head of the Migration ServiceAndrey Chernenko reported at a briefing today. According to him, there are80,000 officially registered refugees as of today, less than 19,000 of themresiding in tent camps.In the past six months, 120 tents where Chechen refugees had lived, wereclosed, Chernenko reported.
