Bank of Russia issued on Friday memorable coins made of precious metals from the "Dionisiy" historic series.
According to the official web-site of the Bank of Russia, the series consists of silver coins of 3-10 roubles value and of golden coins of 50,000 and 10,000 roubles value.
The coins have a round shape with the diameter of 39mm and 100mm, and of 22,6 and 100mm. The coins have grooving side edges.
The head side of the coins bears the fluted emblem of the Bank of Russia - a two-headed eagle with folded wings with a half-circular inscription "Bank of Russia" beneath.
The tail side of the coins bears the fluted ornaments of icons and frescoes painted by Russian artist Dionisiy.
The issued coins are the Russian Federation lawful currency and are obliged to be accepted at the nominal value without any limitations.
