The Kremlin has unveiled President Vladimir Putin's foreign schedule for the late summer and fall.
As Sergei Prikhodko, Deputy to the Kremlin Chief-of-Staff, told reporters on Tuesday, Spanish King Juan Carlos I is due in Moscow August 18. He will meet with President Putin for an informal discussion of the latest developments in Spain and the world. It will be remembered that the Constitution bans the King from holding any official negotiations.
Preparations are currently underway for Bulgarian President Georgy Parvanov's visit to Russia this September, Prikhodko reported. Also, a visit by Chilean President Ricardo Lagos Escobar is being arranged. Vietnamese Communist Party leader Nong Duc Manh comes in Moscow in October. The Slovenian President, Milan Kucan, also plans on visiting the Russian capital sometime this fall, the Kremlin official announced.
