The Philippine’s largest oil refiner, Petron Corp., will raise again the price of its liquefied petroleum gas products by P1 per kilo from today due to the continuing rise in LPG prices in the global market.
Contract prices of LPG in the international market rose by $28.50 per MT as of September that is an increase of P1.58 per kilo.
The suggested retail price of Petron’s Gasul will be between P256-P271 if the increase were applied on its 11-kilo cylinder.
The further price increase in LPG is expected due to rising demand for heating fuel in western countries.
If following the tendencies in the international market the company should have been adjusting its prices by P1.48 per kilo.
