LUKoil’s security service is “very reluctant” to share information on the investigation into the abduction of LUKoil’s vice president Sergei Kukura.
The oil company’s security officers “are often very reluctant to share the information they obtained”. No one doubts the professionalism of former secret agents and law enforcement officers who now work for LUKoil’s security service, but the investigation is being conducted by law enforcement agencies.
LUKoil officials categorically refuted reports about their reluctance to cooperate with the Prosecutor’s Office. According to the head of the oil company’s press service, LUKoil’s security service “is doing its best to help the investigation and provide it with all the necessary information”
