The Russian Industrialist 2002 forum, which is taking place in St. Petersburg on September 25-26, will include a 9th investment project presentation and fair. The event is being organised by the St. Petersburg committee for economic development, the St. Petersburg Centre for International Cooperation and the RENA Economic News Agency.
Participants of the fair will include over 300 Russian and foreign investment companies and investment funds, banking structures, large industrial enterprises, chambers of commerce and industry, consulates, the EBRD and the US-Russia Investment Fund. The forum will include four round-table discussions on the problems of developing business and attracting investment. Students, graduates and young managers will present their projects in the Young, Bold and Promising competition. According to the forum's organisers, of the 239 projects presented at previous forums, 29 have already been carried out and 57 are currently the subject of negotiations.
