Governor of the Tyumen region (Southern Urals) Sergei Sobyanin received Monday a delegation of British businesspeople headed by General Consul at the Urals Linda Cross.
In the course of the meeting Linda Cross noted that Great Britain has many projects connected with Tyumen and this visit is an important step in relations between the two countries.
The governor underscored in turn that the Tyumen region is prepared for contacts with English businesspeople. "We, of course, will help foreign companies, if they wish to place production here," he noted.
The Cameron company, whose representatives are on the delegation staff, is engaged in production and servicing of equipment for oil-and-gas industry. The company has been operating in Russia for quite a long time.
Other companies represented by the delegation members are engaged in production of equipment for off-shore works, pumps, and other units for oil extraction.
