1,165 family homes have been rebuilt in Chechnya from the beginning of this year, press office of the federally owned enterprise Management for Construction and Rebuilding Work in the Chechen Republic told RIA Novosti Tuesday. In September alone, 237 detached houses with the total space 28,500 square meters were rebuilt. At this point, paperwork is being handled on that residential space.
The enterprise's Director General Anatoly Popov says his corporation has over the nine months of this year carried out two-thirds of its part of the federal program to rebuild Chechnya's economy and social welfare. He said this is a reason to believe the program would be carried out in full by the end of the year, provided funding is steadily and fully available.
But he complained the corporation has some concerns about orders from public agencies like the Industry, Science and Technologies Ministry, the Agriculture Ministry, and the judicial department of the Justice Ministry. He blamed these for holding up funding, thereby causing delays in construction work on sites.
