Gazprom To Sell Stake in Gazprombank

Gazprom board has made a decision on the sale of a 49% stake in Gazprombank.

However Gazprom plans to keep the controlling stake, currently it owns nearly 100% of Gazprombank.

Within the framework of the programme for development of Gazprombank till 2005 it will be transformed into a public company, whose shares will be traded on both domestic and international markets. ©
