Mosenergo plans to pay off a coupon yield and completely redeem its Eurobonds, Arkady Yevstafyev, general director of the company, declared. According to him, the company was to pay off $155m in Eurobonds as of January 1, 2002. Currently this sum is lower, some $110m. Mosenergo has allocated $114m to make a coupon payment and redeem the Eurobonds.
The company issued these securities totaling $200m with a five-year maturity period in October 1997.
