Second All-Russia Oil and Gas Week Begins in Moscow

The second All-Russia Oil and Gas Week will be held in the Moscow Centre of International Trade in October 14th-17th.

RIA Novosti was told in the organising committee of the conference that it will be held with the support of the State Duma, the Energy Ministry and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.

The aim of the function is to consider the most promising oil and gas projects, issues of raising the efficiency of the oil and gas complex's activity and perfecting the state oil and gas policy of the country.

The international scientific-practical conference "Oil and Gas Complex. State Interests and International Cooperation" as well as seminars and round-table discussions are to be held within the framework of the Week.

Representatives of national oil and gas companies from the USA, Britain, France, Venezuela, Algeria, Turkey, Italy, Ukraine and other countries -- major oil and gas producers, exporters and consumers -- will attend the forum.
