Central Bank Fixes Official Rate of U.S. Dollar and Euro for October 14 and 15, 2002

The official rate of the US dollar fixed by the Central Bank for October 15th is 31.6703 roubles per dollar, the Central Bank's department of foreign and public relations reported.

According to the Department, no dealings were done on Monday in the system of electronic lots trading of the Moscow Inter-Bank Currency Exchange because of Columbus Day.

The rate of the euro is fixed at 31.3029 roubles per euro as of October 15th, having increased by 3.8 kopecks against the earlier figure.
