In the Nizhny Novgorod region, a special ceremony was conducted to open the perinatal center in the town of Dzerzhinsk. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Olga Golodets and the head of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev attended the event.
"Today, we are happy to open the perinatal center in Dzerzhinsk. The centre is very well equipped to meet all international standards and requirements, - said Olga Golodets. - In fact, the process of child labor, how comfortable the mother feels during labor and what kind of help she and her baby receives - these are very important factors for a happy family life."
The new Dzerzhinsk perinatal center is now open for residents of Dzerzhinsk, Balakhninsky district, Volodarsky and beyond-the-river part of the city of Nizhny Novgorod. The center was built to accommodate 150 patients. The center also has a maternity advisory board with visiting obstetric anesthesiology and intensive care teams providing emergency and urgent care.
The perinatal center in Dzerzhinsk will welcome first patients in a month after cleaning and disinfection works.
