Russian President Vladimir Putin has participated in the opening of a children's riding school and a riding hall in the Moscow Region.
Sunday night the Head of State arrived to the Odintsovo district where he took part in the opening of a children's riding school and a riding hall.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Head of State said that "horse-breeding and horse-riding have always followed in Russia's traditions," our country "has always maintained high standards in this sport." He also expressed hope that today's students of the children's riding school would raise the standards.
The President stressed that riding required not only personal courage and skill, but love for animals, for his or her horse in particular.
On congratulating the audience on the opening of the children's riding school and riding hall, the Head of State gave the young riders a horse.
