RAO UES of Russia is planning to make 'Credits in exchange for long-term electric energy supply' agreements with large energy consumers, Financial Director, member of the Executive Board of RAO UES Dmitry Zhurba said at a press conference today. The Financial Director was quoted as saying the energy holding will attract "tens of millions dollars" in credits for the construction of energy facilities. Among the most probable candidates that the company is planning to make such agreements with will be Rosbank. RUSAL and Interros were excluded by the company's Financial Director from the list of potential energy consumers the company will make long-term energy supply agreements with. The attracted credits will be used to finish the construction of a number of electric power plants. According to Zhurba, RAO UES is currently developing a scheme of attracting a credit of E.O.N., a German company.
