Sibneft to publish US GAAP report for H1, 2002 on October 30

Sibneft will publish its financial report for the first half of this year according to US GAAP on October 30, the press service of the company reported. The company's shareholders earlier approved the information policy regulations, which contained an article covering the publication of the annual and semi-annual reports according to US GAAP. As it was reported earlier, Sibneft's net profit according to unaudited US GAAP report was $613m in the first half of 2002. The company's sales were $1.663bn, EBITDA - $871m. In 2001 the company's net profit was $1.3bn according to US GAAP (against $674.8m in 2001).
