Gazprom Places Additional USD 200 Million Tranche to Eurobond

Gazprom has placed a USD 200 million additional tranche to an existing Eurobond. According to the gas giant's press office, the issue was made as part of the company's second Eurobond loan, issued on October 8 according to Regulation S to the value of USD 500 million. The original issue had an annual yield of 10.5% and was to be redeemed in 2009.

The value of the additional tranche is 100.625% of the nominal value, which is equivalent to an annual yield of 10.371%. The average yield of the whole USD 700 million dollar issue is 10.46%. The new placing was due to high demand from current and new investors who requested an additional issue on their own initiative.
