Hostage Release Operation: Special Troops Shouldered Responsibility for the Storming

A source close to the Russian special forces told PRAVDA.Ru the following: “When the first shots were heard in the theater, and the terrorists started killing the hostages, soldiers of the Alpha group and special forces lost all patience. Together with the operative headquarters, which commanded the operation, they shouldered all responsibility for the special operation. As a result of the special operation, during which sleeping gas was used, all hostages were successfully freed from the theater.”
