YUKOS increases oil exports

Oil exports of the YUKOS Oil Company amounted to 26.5 million tons (194 million barrels) in the first nine months of 2002 gaining 24.6 percent as compared to the corresponding period of 2001. The sales of oil products on the domestic market were 13.7 million tons (102 million barrels) in the reported period, which was 9.4 percent more than in the first nine months of 2001. Exports of oil products went up by 8.5 percent in January-September 2002 against the corresponding period of 2001 and reached 7.7 million tons (54 million barrels).
