"Siberia: Export-Import" international industrial exhibition and the Polytechnic Forum opened in Novosibirsk, the largest Siberian economic centre. Expositions "Siberian Electricity", "Siberian Energy, Energy and Resource Saving", "Gas Supply in Siberia", "Siberian Ecology", "Siberian Science", "Siberian Mineral Resources", "Siberian Mining" and "Siberian Metals - 2002" will be held as part of the Polytechnic Forum.
More than 350 major companies from 46 Russian cities, Germany, Italy, Finland, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Austria, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Estonia and Kirghizia participate in the Polytechnic Forum.
The exposition features more than 1,000 of products of instrument-making industry, energy conservation technologies, electric power stations' equipment, resource conservation technologies and equipment and scientific developments.
The first-ever exposition of the People's Republic of China will be presented as part of the Export-Import forum. The Polish Embassy is also taking part in the exhibition for the first time. It is to hold several business meetings with representatives of Novosibirsk and Siberian companies.
The Polytechnic Forum and "Siberia: Export-Import" exposition will close on November 1st with the presentation of the Golden Medal of the Siberian Fair for the best exhibit.
