25 Russian defense organizations and enterprises represented at International Aerospace Exhibition "Airshow China '02"

Twenty-five Russian defense enterprises and organizations have presented their production at the 4th International Aerospace Exhibition "Airshow China '02" that opens in China on Monday, a representative of the federal state unitary enterprise "Rosoboronexport", which has organized the united Russian exposition, told RIA Novosti.

"Airshow China '02", one of the largest international airshows, is held from November 4th till 7th in the town of Chuhai /the Chuhai special economic zone/ on the order of the Central government of China.

"Russia is a traditional participant in the Chuhai exhibition," the Rosoboronexport representative pointed out. "Here the Russian defense industry can fully demonstrate its potential in developing military and technical cooperation with Asian states." The Russian exposition presents more than 250 samples of combat aviation equipment and weapons, as well as 270 kinds of products of civil and double role, all represented as modes, posters and advertising materials.

The Rosoboronexport representative expressed his certainty that "Russia's participation in the 4th International Aerospace exhibition "Airshow China '02" will become an important stage in expanding military and technical cooperation not only with China, but also with all countries of this region".
