Three ice crossings will link the Amur Region (the Russian Far East) and China. As RIA Novosti was told in the press service of the administration of the Amur Region, the head of the administration of the Amur Region signed a resolution on organising ice crossings for international cargo and passenger transportation in winter.
Transportation of cargoes and passengers on the international ice crossings will be organised on the routes Blagoveshchensk - Heiho, Poyarkovo - Siunke and Dzhalinda (Russia) - Moho.
To ensure safety and to meet the nature-protection requirements during the ice crossings a Regional control commission was set up.
The crossings will work from December till April.
