Nizhny Novgorod administration cooperates with people

The head of the Nizhny Novgorod administration, Oleg Kondrashov, took second place in the ranking of regional influence of politicians. Specialists in the field of political technologies served as experts in the research. A robot formed the composite ranking on the base of their assessments. Officials, political functionaries, politicians and members of the rating did not participate in the voting.

The governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region Valery Shantsev became the most frequently mentioned politician in the media. Presidential aide in Volga Region, Mikhail Babich, was ranked third. The rating of regional influence of politicians was provided by POLIT.TEH agency.

The head of the Nizhny Novgorod administration, Oleg Kondrashov,  believes that the rating results show the successful cooperation of the city administration with the local population. The administration makes key decisions and projects of the municipal government accessible to the general public. Important issues of the city life are discussed in the press, television and on the Internet.

Oleg Kondrashov emphasized the importance of support and participation of Nizhny Novgorod residents in solving the problems of the city development. "Large municipalities" project became an example of this fruitful cooperation. The project was proposed by the head of the Nizhny Novgorod administration. "Large municipalities" was launched in December 2011. The goal of the project is to get people involved in administration processes with the help of specific ideas and recommendations that can change the life of the city and its citizens for the better. The project is being implemented actively and is very popular among the Nizhny Novgorod residents.

"Today we can say that the development of Nizhny Novgorod is determined by the initiative of local residents, not by politicians alone. We have come together to make people's lives better, more comfortable. In my opinion, it indicates that the dialogue between the city government and citizens is being built in a constructive way ", said Oleg Kondrashov.
