A Japanese firm has addressed Khabarovsk with an official order for deliveries of used Russian automobiles, head of the press service of the Khabarovsk City Hall Alexander Gorbunov said on Monday. "It turns out that Russian motor vehicles are in demand on the part of Japanese collectors of automobiles," Alexander Gorbunov said. "Two Zhiguli cars made in 1987 have already been shipped to Japan and sold there." According to the information obtained, the Japanese firm, having studied its compatriots' demand, arrived at the conclusion that collecting vintage automobiles, primarily foreign ones, has been becoming a hobby of well-off people. That is why the firm considers trade in Russian old automobiles to be a promising business.
