In Petropavlovsk-Kamchatski cyclone causes much damage to housing stock

The damage done by a mighty cyclone is currently being specified in the regional centre of Kamchatka. The damage done to the housing stock of Petropavlovsk can be considered quite substantial. The basements in many houses have been flooded, and the roofs in many houses damaged, there is partly no electricity in more than 200 houses, and in some houses there is no electricity altogether.

Due to the flooding of the central heating centres, many districts of the city get no hot water supplies and heating. Road traffic in some districts has been interrupted due to landslides and mud flows.
