Over 50 multi-level parking areas to appear in Nizhny Novgorod

The department of architecture and city planning of the Nizhny Novgorod administration has developed construction plans for more than 50 multifunctional and multilevel parking lots in the city. The information was released by Mikhail Romanychev, the director of the department, at the session of the profile committee of the State Duma on December 6, Tuesday.

According to the official, some of the parking lots will be opened at the expense of the budget, whereas others - with investors' help.

As for the central part of the city, the parking areas in downtown Nizhny Novgorod are to appear in the area of Pochainsky Ovrag, Markin Square, Chocolate Trade Center, Bolshaya Pecherskaya Street, Sennaya bus station, as well as near Freedom Square and Gorky Square. The full list of the new parking areas will be published on the website of the Nizhny Novgorod administration before the New Year.
