Two British newspapers reported Thursday that fashion model Kate Moss has checked into a rehabilitation clinic in the United States.

Friends of the 31-year-old who was photographed snorting cocaine told The Times newspaper that Moss flew to the Meadows Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, where she will spend a month in "medical treatment and therapy." The clinic reportedly costs US$4,000 (2,250) a day.

The model's agent wasn't immediately available for comment Thursday morning. Several phone calls to the Storm modeling agency went unanswered.

Moss lost several contracts worth millions of dollars (euros) last week after pictures surfaced of her snorting cocaine in a London music studio, reports the AP. I.L.
