A speeding bus carrying Muslim pilgrims collided with a truck and overturned on a narrow road in southern Pakistan on Wednesday, killing at least 11 people and injuring 14 others, police said.
The accident happened near Sukkur, about 560 kilometers (347 miles) northeast of Karachi when the pilgrims were returning home after attending a religious festival in Sehwan Sharif, said Shafi Mohammed, an area police official. Ali Akbar, a doctor at a hospital in Sukkur, said they had so far received 11 bodies and 14 injured, informs the AP.
