The Emergencies Ministry's information department reported on Friday that rescue workers were continuing to search for four missing miners in the Severnaya mine in the Komi republic (the European part of Russia).
"The search for four miners is happening in two directions, about 18-12 meters have not been dug out yet," a press release from the ministry said.
According to the release, earlier three miners were rescued and one dead body was brought to the surface.
A cave-in in the Severnaya mine occurred at a depth of 560 meters on August 3. At the time, there were 154 miners in the mine, 146 of whom were brought to the surface.
