Russian border guards discovered a large cache with weapons at a section of the Pyandzh border detachment on the Tajik-Afghan border, said the public relations center of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB).
"The cache contained 178 fuses, a propelling charge for an unguided missile, grenades and cartridges for the RPG-7 grenade launcher, antipersonnel mines, some 1,000 shells for aircraft cannons, six thousand rounds of different caliber, 100 signal cartridges and 1,000 shells for anti-aircraft systems," said the center.
The ammunition will be destroyed soon. Cache owners are being searched for.
