More than 30 kg of hashish were confiscated on the Tajik-Afghan border, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Public Relations Center told RIA Novosti.
On Thursday, April 22, Russian border guards who serve on the Tajik-Afghan border, discovered at the section of a Pyandzh border detachment, near the Pyandzh river, two sacks of "chars" drugs (a variety of hashish) weighing 32.8 kg. The drugs were delivered to the border detachment's administration, the PR Center reported.
The document also writes that at the section of the Khorog border detachment a cache was found with mines and shells for RPG grenade launcher.
According to FSB, Russian border guards confiscated more than 32,000 ammunition units on the Tajik-Afghan border since the beginning of the year.
