Viktor Kaloev's relatives can not believe that he murdered the Swiss air traffic controller.
I can not believe that my brother could kill a man, Viktor Kaloev's sister told RIA Novosti. Viktor Kaloev (48) is the main suspect in the murder of the air traffic controller working for Swiss Sky-Guide Company.
It is presumed that the air traffic controller was blamed for the collision of two airplanes which killed more than 69 passengers of the Bashkirian airlines company (Russia) in 2002. Most of the victims were children.
Saloev's sister confirmed that in June 2002 Viktor Saloev's wife and their two children were aboard the crashed liner. They were flying to Spain for their vacations.
For five years before the tragedy Kaloev had been working in Spain, as a CEO in a construction company.
According to his sister after the tragedy Kaloev had not had many contacts around spending most of his time by the tomb of his wife and children.
Other relatives disclosed that Kaloev felt despondent and to all attempts to talk to him replied that he "should know the truth".
Though the relatives do not believe that Kaloev could commit a deliberate murder they think that his mentality had changed as a result of the tragedy. They also said that Kaloev "was looking forward for the trial and for the soonest comeuppance of the guilty; and even wanted to go to Switzerland to witness the justicing.
All Kaloev's relatives are uniform that "being an earnest man he would confess if he is the murderer."
