The body of the last of the seven snowboarders killed by an avalanche in Cheget (a popular ski resort in Kabardino-Balkaria) was found, the southern regional center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry reported.
"The body of Anton Batin was found today at 12.20 Moscow time on the slope of Cheget Mountain," RIA Novosti's interlocutor said.
On February 10 seven young Muscovites, Ilya and Vasily Smirnov, Anton Batin, Alexander Ivanov, Alexander Andryushin, Nina Pakhomova and Alexander Konkov, left the village of Terskol to take a walk in the mountains and never returned.
The search for the group began on February 12 when their parents reported that contact with the children was lost.
