Experts estimate the power of the blast outside National Hotel in the heart of Moscow at one kilogram of TNT, reported a source close to investigation.
"Experts say that terrorists used an explosive device without envelope. The power of its contact elements was equal to one kilogram of TNT," RIA Novosti's interlocutor pointed out.
On Tuesday, at 10:53 a.m. a blast took place in Moscow near the National Hotel killing six people, including three women, and injuring 14 who were hospitalized. Panes were smashed on two floors of the Hotel, and six cars damaged. A criminal case was instituted on the articles "terrorism" and "murder".
