An earthquake measuring 4.6 on the Richter scale struck the Russian republic of Altai (southwestern Siberia) last night.
There has been no information regarding possible casualties or the level of destruction.
The epicenter of the earthquake was in the village of Akhtash.
Akhtash was also the epicenter for the massive October 1 earthquake (9 on the Richter scale) that destroyed 1,500 buildings.
