RIA Novosti received this information on Monday in the regional operative headquarters for commanding the counter-terrorist operation in the North Caucasus.
"This active participant in the illegal armed formations, a 29-old resident of Raduzhnoye village, whose name has not been disclosed so far, was on a federal wanted list on two criminal cases," representative of the headquarters Ilya Shabalkin said.
According to him, during the investigation it was established that "the detained militant was involved in the murder of head of Chechen-Aul village's administration Salautdin Tsitsayev and a station's policeman Movsar Dzhavatkhanov perpetrated several months ago." "The detained bandit admitted his guilt under the weight of irrefutable evidence," Shabalkin emphasized.
