Three people were arrested in Yuzhny, a village in Ingushetia's /a Russian republic bordering on Chechnya/ Malgobek district, on suspicion of being involved in production of explosive devices, a source in the republic's Interior Ministry told RIA Novosti by telephone.
Searching through the house belonging to a Magomed Merzoyev on Monday, officers from the Russian and Ingush foreign ministries' departments responsible for combating organized crime and Ingushetia's Federal Security Service Department discovered 3 kg of ammonium nitrate, 400 g of TNT, metal billets and other components used in production of explosive devices, as well as a number of remote control stations.
"There were topographic maps showing the bordering areas of Chechnya and Georgia, instructions how to treat prisoners of war, and a belt of the type used by suicide bombers," the source told RIA Novosti.
The owner of the house and two more people were arrested. Law enforcers have opened a criminal case.
