45 kg of plastic explosives has been found in Grozny at a police checkpoint. The explosives were found on Wednesday in a ruined building in the capital's Leninsky district when checking the territory adjacent to the post, RIA Novosti learned from the republic's Interior Ministry.
The police found two similar caches in the Oktyabrsky district of Grozny. They contained two grenade-launchers, five shells for a grenade-launcher and an anti-tank mine.
Caches with weapons and ammunition were also found in the republic's Kurchaloyevsky and Nozhai-Yurt districts, as well as in the village of Urus-Martan.
