An area of 195,000 hectares enveloped by 337 forest fires

An area of about 195,000 hectares have been enveloped by 337 forest fires of which 83 are large ones. Over the past 24 hours the number of fires reduced by 30 and that of big fires - by 10, RIA Novosti was told on Thursday in the emergencies ministry information department.

A total of 5,563 people, 910 pieces of ground equipment and 45 planes participate in the elimination of the fires.

Most fires have been registered in Siberian regions, in Irkutsk region -112, in Chita region - 77, of which 43 are big, and in Buryatia -38.
