A militant gang in the Chechen capital Grozny attacked a group of civilians, killing three and wounding one, reported the Chechen Interior Ministry.
The incident took place in the city's Zavodskoi district on Monday evening. According to the Interior Ministry report, a gang of about 15 militants opened fire with automatic weapons, killing two men on the spot and heavily wounding one more, who died en route to the hospital. The victims were identified as local Chechens aged 20, 25 and 30. Another young man, 24, was hospitalized with wounds.
