Russian sailor suspected of having atypical pneumonia

A crewman of the Russian ship Khazar Star-4 from Taganrog is suspected of having atypical pneumonia, deputy chief of the southern regional centre of the Russian Emergencies Ministry Oleg Grekov said.

According to him, on Wednesday morning the captain of the dry cargo ship reported that one of the sailors had high temperature and heavy breathing.

Now the ship is on the beam of the Kavkaz port in the Temryuk district of the Krasnodar territory. The sick sailor is examined by medics.

The dry cargo ship was going to Rostov-on-Don from Italy.
